France 3 select Silex Media to implement regional automation project

Silex Media is prime contractor for automation project at France 3 Corse ViaStella, the regional Corsican TV station, which consists of Aveco driven workflows. The project is expected to be completed in the fall.

Munich, July 29, 2009 – Silex Media, a provider of advanced IT-based broadcast solutions, has been awarded the France 3 regional automation project for the local France 3 Corse ViaStella TV stations. The solution drives the local station France 3 Corse ViaStella and the France 3 Corse affiliate station, and automates the dozen devices that are connected in this custom workflow. Silex Media will be responsible for project management, implementation, documentation and training. Implementation has started in July and is scheduled to be completed in the fall.

The automation system is provided by Aveco, whose Astra product is a proven, state-of-the-art and cost-effective system. Stephan K.
